MetPAD^TM, MetPLATE^TM and MetSTICK^TM are toxicity test kits specific for detecting heavy metal toxicity in environmental samples, including water, wastewater, sediments, soils, biosolids, and metal hyperaccumulating plants.

The MetPLATE^TM kit contains freeze-dried test bacteria, an enzyme substrate, buffer, dilution moderately hard water, a Cu positive control, and a 96-well microplate for enzyme assay.

The MetPAD^TM kit contains freeze-dried test bacteria, buffer, dilution moderately hard water, a Cu positive control, and a pad containing the enzyme substrate.

The MetSTICK-S^TM kit contains plastic slides with immobilized test bacteria, a bottle of enzyme substrate and a bottle of moderately hard water.

All heavy metal toxicity tests are based on the specific inhibition of beta-galactosidase by heavy metals.
